To anyone who's a frequent China Air traveler, this fabric may well ring a bell. ;)
Whilst staying with my folks last year, I'd found this old, rather small blanket.
I used it to wrap myself up and keep warm, that is, until I decided to cut it up and make a #kimono style cover- much more functional than the loose ends of a shawl/wrap.
I like it so much that there's another on the way, though not from a(n overly staticky) blanket. This time, with the design choosing me, I chose the fabric: a lovely royal purple-y pinkish shade. ;)
